Bluejuice Reveal New Single ‘SOS’ Coming September

Aussie indie funk rock outfit Bluejuice have a brand-new single coming out this September, SOS, and it features a stack of exciting talent who will ensure the band’s return to the airwaves maintains their strong tradition of awesome.

According to a post on frontman Jake Stone‘s Facebook (below), SOS features the handiwork of Sparkadia singer Alex Burnett and producer and mixer Blue May (who together run London’s XXVII Studios), The Hours drummer Adam Gammage, ex-Philadelphia Grand Jury frontman Simon Berckelman, Basement Jaxx collaborator Nomvula Malinga and even Amy Winehouse‘s piano player and backing vocalist – though in what capacity all these names contribute is yet to be revealed

The star-studded single is ready for release at the beginning of September. This will be the first new music we’ve heard from the quartet since they dropped their third full-length studio effort Company back in 2011 and will also feature a host of Sydney jazz scene players like Zoe and James Hauptman and Stone’s sister Elana.

Sounds like SOS is gonna be a winner. We’ll give you an official release date as soon as it’s revealed but for now we’d suggest tiding yourself over with their contribution to Issue #1 of The Son‘s graphic novel, or perhaps the Bliss N Eso take on their song Act Your Age. It’s all good. Take your pick.
