Bluesfest 2013: (Ridiculously) Early Bird Tickets Now On Sale

Bluesfest’s 2013 event is just over 10 months away now, a distant thought to what will be the wrap-up to Australia’s summer festival season next year. But some of us will already be set on securing our tickets for the next event even though it’s only late May. That’s why organisers are releasing early bird tickets with the option to pay them off over the next 5 months.

The iconic ‘Blues and Roots’ festival is always host to classic acts such as Roger Daltrey, Earth Wind & Fire, The Pogues, John Fogarty, and our own Cold Chislel, John Butler Trio and Josh Pyke. Festival Director Peter Noble has descibed the next lineup as “possibly our best bill yet”. So we can be sure that when we get news of their first announcement (sometime around early September) the early investment will be well worth it.

Bluesfest is now entering its 24th year, and, as always, is completely dedicated to the ideal that Bluesfest is not simply another multi-day event full of bands and crowds. It is an annual gathering of curious music fans, artists, travellers and locals. During the course of the festival, friendships are made and longtime ones renewed, people from around the corner meet with those from the other side of the globe, and first-timers fall in love with Bluesfest and Byron Bay.

The 2013 event will be held from Thursday, 28th March to Monday, 1st April, 2013 at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. Check out their website at http://www.bluesfest.com.au for info on 5 and 3 Day Early Bird Festival and Camping tickets.
