To continue to hype fans up for their curated travelling music festival BOOTY BLOCK PARTY next month, Yugambeh/Gold Coast-based party starters Bootleg Rascal have returned with a genre-bending new track dubbed ‘From The Very Start’.
Produced by Caleb Tasker (Rum Jungle, The Terrys) with mixing and mastering by Ian Pritchett (Angus and Julia Stone, Boo Seeka), the tune is a feelgood party anthem with laid-back grooves, which blends flavours of hip-hop, reggae and indie rock.

“As the title and lyrics allude to, this song is all about beginnings – exploring the origins of romantic relationships, musical collaborations, friendships, and careers,” guitarist Jimmy Young explains of the track.
Meanwhile, their BOOTY BLOCK PARTY tour will feature a combination of the Rascal’s muso mates Danté Knows, Dear Sunday, Dizzy Days and Tasman Keith at eight dates across the country next March, stopping in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.
