Boris To Play ‘Flood’ In Full On New Australian Tour, June 2013

Boris will play their classic album Flood in full when they return to Australia in June. Here last year for an east coast tour, the Japanese 3-piece is coming back to finish the job and this time Boris will also pay a visit to Hobart and Perth, as well as returning to Sydney and Melbourne

Flood was released in 2000, the third album from the genre-hopping drone/noise/sludge/stoner rock band. This album falls squarely in the sludge and psych sections of their oeuvre and when listened to from start to finish the cult classic plays as one 70-plus minute piece. Along with playing Flood in its entirety, Boris will be performing hits from throughout their career, which spans over 2 decades.

Having formed in the early ’90s, Boris has 17 studio albums to their name and another on the way in 2013. Along with various collaboration albums and live records, the trio have amassed a staggering body of work. Be sure to not miss out on the unique experience of Boris when they return in June.
