Yo Brissie fam — your New Year’s Day plans just got sorted thanks to a brand new one-day festival dubbed Day One, hitting the Riverstage on 1st January, 2018.
International beat serpent DJ Snake will be headlining proceedings, atop a mighty bill that also features bass don Baauer and two of the biggest movers of 2017 — Canada’s princess of bass tech, Rezz; and New Zealand’s quirky bass star Quix, plus plenty more acts TBA.
As well as helping you chase away the NYE hangover and kick off 2018 with a bass-droppin’ bang, DJ Snake’s set will apparently also feature “one of the largest audio-visual installations ever seen at the Riverstage”, so get bloody pumped.
It follows the dance superstar’s recent announcement on the Field Day 2018 lineup and his promise of more Aussie tour dates to come.
And sorry young’ns, the fully licensed Day One fest is 18+ only.
