The whole world – except Australia because we cannot legally watch it – is in super #FreeBritney mode following the release of viral documentary Framing Britney Spears, including Britney Spears’ boyfriend.
Sam Asghari took to Instagram this morning to share his thoughts about Spears’ father, Jamie, who is in control of Spears’ highly controversial conservatorship.
On Instagram, Asghari posted a story that read, in all caps, “NOW IT’S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR SOMEONE TRYING TO CONTROL OUR RELATIONSHIP AND CONSTANTLY THROWING OBSTACLES OUR WAY”.
“IN MY OPINION JAMIE IS A TOTAL DICK,” he continued.
“I WON’T BE GOING INTO DETAILS BECAUSE I’VE ALWAYS RESPECTED OUR PRIVACY BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DIDNT COME TO THIS COUNTRY TO NOT BE ABLE TO EXPRESS MY OPINION AND FREEDOM.”

Framing Britney Spears, a documentary presented by Hulu and The New York Times, looks at Spears’ mistreatment by the media and the public throughout her hugely successful career. It then looks at her public 2007 breakdown, and catches us up with the details around her conservatorship.
At present, the conservatorship case is being taken to court once again later this week for another hearing. According to Spears’ lawyer, she wants temporary personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery, permanently in the position. In November, the judge denied this request, maintaining Spears’ father in the role of conservator.
