New American X-Factor judge Britney Spears has supposedly left the set of the reality show following a terrible performance of one of her songs, reports TMZ. Several audience members said Britney was upset after a contestant butchered her song Hold It Against Me.
Britney didn’t come back straight away, and four contestants auditioned in front of the remaining judges without her there. However, a staff member working on the show told TMZ that Britney wasn’t upset over the performance, and insisted that she “just took a short break”.
It would be interesting to hear how the contestant’s version compared to Britney’s if the lady herself performed it live.
