The longest running urban music festival in Australia, Brunswick Music Festival, has named the first set of acts on its 2016 lineup, including Scotland’s Shooglenifty (pictured), English folk outfit Spiro and young Irish band Moxie.
Other acts heading to Brunswick next March for the 28th edition of Brunswick Music Festival include singer-songwriter Alsarah and her quartet The Nubatones, as well as Scottish band Mànran. Catch the full first lineup announcement, below.
This year’s Brunswick Music Festival featured acts such as Archie Roach and Radical Son, L-FRESH The LION and The Bon Scotts. Next year’s program will see yet another lineup announcement in December, before the full roster is announced in January.
The festival has also introduced ‘The Town Hall Venue Pass’, which will punters access to each show in the Brunswick Town Hall over the five days of the festival.
Brunswick is also set to host the free Sydney Road Street Party on 6th March 2016, with markets, outdoor performances and outdoor performances.
