Calvin Harris Reveals Taylor Swift Wrote ‘This Is What You Came For’, Drops Harsh Truth Bombs On Twitter

Calvin Harris dropped his Rihanna-featuring single This Is What You Came For mere weeks before his fairytale romance with pop superstar Taylor Swift came to an end and now there’s been a plot twist.

Calvin Harris recently took to Twitter to, let’s say, vent while Swifty is on the Gold Coast with her suspected new beau, actor Tom Hiddleston. Before getting a little bit heated, Harris confirmed that Swift was low-key one of the writers on This Is What You Came For and she also sings a little bit on it.

“Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual,” he said which is a nice thing to say of someone that allegedly ripped your heart out but that was about all the kindness he had to send her way.

After he revealed that she wanted to do it under a pseudonym things got a little juicier with Harris tweeting, “hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make me look bad at this stage though.”

“I figure if you’re happy in your own relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

He then stuck the final knife in bringing up Swift’s nemesis Katy Perry who she wrote a number one song about, Bad Blood.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” he wrote.

This has made Harris’ Twitter about 100 times more interesting given that these have come from the guy who tweets rarely and when he does says stuff like, “it’s Saturday night”. Yawn.

Interestingly, while Swift hasn’t said anything in response, Perry randomly tweeted a gif. that’s seemingly in response to Harris’ truth bombs.

Harris surprisingly hasn’t deleted his tweets after some time pondering them but he did tell all his followers, “God bless everyone have a beautiful day”.

It’s unlikely that Swift will respond publicly given she runs a pretty tight PR ship but you better believe that the follow up to 1989 is going to be full of some of the breakup songs of the century.
