Cardi B performed as part of this year’s BET Awards, joining Migos onstage for a rendition of their Culture III collaboration ‘Type Shit’, with an exposed baby bump. The rapper went on to confirm she is pregnant with her second child with husband (and Migos member) Offset in a post on her social media – see that below.
This marks the second time Cardi has revealed a pregnancy while appearing on national television, showing a baby bump in 2018 when performing Invasion of Privacy cut ‘Be Careful’ on Saturday Night Live. Cardi went on to give birth to her first daughter, Kulture, in July of that year.

Migos released latest album Culture III last month, concluding the trilogy that began with 2017’s Culture and was followed up by 2018’s Culture II. In addition to Cardi, the album features guest appearances from Drake, Future, Justin Bieber, Juice WRLD and more.
Cardi B, meanwhile, released latest single ‘Up’ back in February. It’s the second song to be lifted from the rapper’s forthcoming second studio album, details of which are yet to be formally announced. It followed the album’s lead single, ‘WAP’, which featured Megan Thee Stallion, who won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at this year’s BETs.
‘WAP’ won the Video of the Year Award for its provocative visuals, with the track itself up for Best Collaboration and Viewer’s Choice Award. Migos were nominated for Best Group at this year’s awards, but lost out to Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak‘s Silk Sonic.
