Catfish And The Bottlemen Share First New Song In Three Years, ‘Longshot’

Written by Tom Williams on January 9, 2019

Welsh rockers Catfish And The Bottlemen are back with their first piece of new music in three years — a fresh single called ‘Longshot’.

Heaving just wrapped up an Australian tour as part of this year’s Falls Festival lineup, Van McCann and company have shared the song as a first taste of the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2016 album The Ride.

‘Longshot’ sees McCann, Johnny Bond (guitars), Robert ‘Bob’ Hall (drums) and Benji Blakeway (bass) return to their struttin’ indie rock stylings while rocking out in a music video they shot on a cliffside.

Watch the video in full, below.

Catfish And The Bottlemen last performed headline shows in Australia around their appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2017.
