Cee Lo Green will be releasing a new album made up of Christmas songs titled Cee Lo’s Magic Moment. He’ll be performing his own renditions of classic festive hits like Silent Night, The Christmas Song, This Christmas, and You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch, along with other guest artists such as Rod Stewart and rapper B.o.B.
According to Billboard, Green described it as “a soulful take on a host of Christmas classics”, which is something we’ve always lacked in a good Christmas-themed recording. The album will be available around October, and provides a good distraction from his previously announced new solo album that is still in the works.
Earlier this year Green took to Twitter to announce that he would be releasing a new album titled Cee-Lo Green… Is Everybody’s Brother, but further details on its release are a little thin. He will also be releasing a new song this week called I Love Football, set to the tune of Blitzkrieg Bop by Ramones. It’s unknown whether this has anything to do with the new album.
