Chairlift have already announced plans to return to Australia before the end of the year to play WA’s epic Disconnect Festival, and now there’s good news for non-Westy fans as well.
The indie electro-pop duo have just unveiled a trio of east coast headline dates hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this December.
“AUSTRALIA! It’s been too long!” the pair posted on Facebook. “We can’t wait to be back in December.
Excited to announce that we’ll be joined by The Harpoons and Confidence Man.”
The aforementioned two acts will be riding with Chairlift to all three of their east coast dates. And Chairlift members Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly will be packing a bag stuffed with their trademark blend of electro, indie and synth pop in the form of their third studio album Moth, which was released earlier this year.
Tickets to Chairlift’s 2016 Aussie tour go on sale to the general public from 9am next Wednesday, 28th September. But diehards can sign up for the exclusive pre-sale here.
