Chance Waters Announces Aussie Tour Dates For April And May 2014

Aussie hip hop artist and producer Chance Waters has today announced he’s hitting the road, with the much-loved Sydney beatmaker and wordsmith coming to a venue near you this April and May with his show A Transit Officer Beat Up My Brother So I Wrote A Funny Song About Him.

We get the feeling Mr Waters is on a bit of a theme right now, considering he’s set to drop a new single called The Ticket Inspector this Friday. It’s from a forthcoming 2014 album that will follow-on from his smash success with singles Young & Dumb and Maybe Tomorrow, which placed at 49 and 85 in this year’s triple j Hottest 100 respectively.

The tour gets going in Adelaide on Friday, 4th April before hitting Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. All shows except Adelaide will see support from indie pop maestro Brendan Maclean, who’s been described by Baz Luhrmann as “a modern day Mick Jagger“.
