Mathew Robert’s band New Rising Son has signed a deal with the French label Deadlight Entertainment and will release a new album titled Honey in January. You can check out one of the tracks from the new album titled Rain below.
43-year-old Roberts claims to be the son of serial killer Charles Manson, saying his biological mother was raped by Manson in 1967. After he was born, his mother put gave him up for adoption.
Roberts told The Sun newspaper in 2009:
I didn’t want to believe it. I was frightened and angry. It’s like finding out that Adolf Hitler is your father. I’m a peaceful person — trapped in the face of a monster… He sends me weird stuff and always signs it with his swastika. At first I was stunned and depressed. I wasn’t able to speak for a day. I remember not being able to eat.
