Chet Faker Adds Fremantle Date, Upgrades Canberra Show

It’s the tour that just keeps on giving. After adding two new Melbourne dates, Chet Faker has now added a Fremantle show to his 2015 Australian tour, while also upgrading the venue of his forthcoming Canberra performance, declaring the ACT show open to all ages and releasing extra tickets.

Chet Faker’s Fremantle performance will take place at the city’s Arts Centre on Sunday, 22nd February, before he closes out his national tour with three shows in Melbourne and one in Adelaide.

Chet’s Canberra show on 11th February has been moved from ANU to the larger Royal Theatre, with extra tickets now available. The show is also no longer an 18+ affair, allowing more of Chet’s wide fan base to experience his music live.

Existing tickets for the Canberra show will be valid for the rescheduled performance in the GA floor section, so current ticket holders don’t have to do anything except turn up. Any punters who would like to refund their Canberra tickets should contact Ticketek.

Chet Faker’s 2015 Australian tour will be his biggest to date, and will wrap up touring behind his debut album Built On Glass. Chet will be supported by cosmic-funk outfit GL at all shows, and Melbourne producer Roland Tings at all shows except Fremantle.

After releasing Built On Glass to critical acclaim in April, Chet toured Australia in July, selling out multiple shows in both Sydney and Melbourne. The success hasn’t stop there, though. Chet has notched up over 100 shows this year, has already claimed three ARIA awards, has won the major prize at the 2014 J Awards, and will perform at the ARIA Awards ceremony on Wednesday, 26th November.
