After four years of virtually no new music, Coldplay have announced a brand new double album titled Everyday Life, and it’s out sooner than you might think.
In a post sent to fans, and after several ‘old-fashioned’ teasers, the band revealed the album’s title and release date, saying they’ve been working on this project for the “last 100 years.”
“Dear friends, my typing isn’t very good i’m sorry,” the post reads.
“I and we hope wherever you are you’re ok. For the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life. In the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner’.”
They also note that the first half of the album is called ‘Sunrise’ and the second half is called ‘Sunset’.
Everyday Life is out Friday, 22nd November.
