If you were lucky enough to see them play last year’s Big Day Out, you will know that Dead Prez are not your run of the mill hip hop act. Having forged a reputation for their outspoken politics and having achieved popularity and built a strong fan-base despite being all but ignored by radio and other mainstream music outlets, Dead Prez continue the tradition of political hip hop in the vein of Public Enemy and KRS-One.
