Download Festival UK 2013 – Lineup

Widely viewed as the UK’s version of Soundwave, next year’s Download Festival is set to be mighty heavy.

Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Slipknot have been announced as the three headliners for next year’s festival, which will be happening at the UK’s ‘home of rock’, Donnington Park, from June 14–16 2013.

At the beginning of this week, Maiden were announced as headliners for Saturday night. Their appearance will mark the 25th Anniversary of their first headline performance at Donnington in 1988, when a record-breaking 107,000 fans turned out to see their spectacular Seventh Son show. It’s the third time they’ve topped the Festival’s bill after also playing in 2003 and 2007.

Rammstein were announced later that day as Sunday night headliners in what will be their first performance at the venue, while Slipknot were unveiled last night as Friday night headliners.

Download Festival 2013 takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire from 14th – 16th June 2013. Download Festival 2013 Tickets are on sale now, priced at £170 for a weekend arena ticket, £195 for 3 nights with camping, and £205 for 5 nights with camping.
