Drake will finally make his debut Australian visit in the new year as he headlines the 2015 Future Music Festival and a mysterious new website suggests he might make the most of his trip with some extra shows and possibly has another announcement in the coming days for Australian fans.
As reported by FasterLouder, the website called draketour.com.au has emerged online and features Drake’s trademark Owl and a countdown clock. The time on the clock will expire at 8am Monday morning. According to a post on social media, posters advertising the website have been spotted on Australian streets.
It has already been announced that Drizzy fans in New Zealand will get the chance to catch the former Degrassi High star at his own headline sideshow when he performs in Auckland’s Vector Arena on February 23rd 2015 with special guest 2 Chainz.
Drake will headline Future Music Festival when it makes its way across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane in March 2015. Other acts on the lineup include Avicii, The Prodigy, Die Antwoord, Martin Garrix and 2 Chainz. See the full Future Music 2015 lineup here.
