Chicago electronica/dance duo DRAMA have unveiled plans for the debut tour of Australia, set to take place this May. The tour comes in support of their second EP, 2023’s Till We Die, which features the single ‘Dollar $hort’ – a collaboration with Australian duo Flight Facilities. “Australia, we heard you and we’re coming,” the pair wrote in a statement.
The duo – composed of vocalist Via Rosa and producer Na’el Shehade – will perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane back-to-back as part of their world tour. They have also teased a potential run of shows in New Zealand while they are in the Australasia region. DRAMA’s full run of Australian dates can be found below.
DRAMA – ‘Tighten It Up’
Rosa and Shehade originally formed DRAMA in 2014, releasing their debut album Gallows in 2016. A follow-up EP, Lies After Love, was released in 2018; their second album, Dance Without Me, followed in 2020. The duo’s most recent releases were the Don’t Wait Up EP in 2022 and last year’s Till We Die EP.
A pre-sale for DRAMA’s Australian tour will go live from 9am local time tomorrow (March 6) via tour promoter Live Nation. A general sale will follow on Thursday March 7th, taking place at 8am local time. All ticketing information and pre-sale access can be found below.
