Dune Rats Announce ‘FUCK YEAH LEDGE YEW!’ National Tour

Restless Aussie troublemakers Dune Rats are hitting the road again, today announcing a regional jaunt which they’ve dubbed the ‘FUCK YEAH LEDGE YEW!’ tour.

Dunies will be heading around Australia’s regional capitals this June and July, for some raucous shows in News South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. Supporting the tour will be Perth outfit Tired Lion and Rockhampton party-starts Pandamic.

To celebrate the tour’s announcement, Dunies have also dropped the music video for their latest single ‘Braindead’ (below), from their most recent album The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. And yes, it features the band performing in a giant field of weed.

“It was epic to head out to the middle of nowhere with the Afends crew and setup a ramp inside a massive weed field. Then just drank beers and had a sick arvo,” say the band.

“’Braindead’ started out in our mate Grudge’s shed on the south coast in Madnurah. We jammed it at a few rehearsals then at all the sound-checks on tour with FIDLAR in the USA.

“That’s where Dunies & Zac started shaping not only that song but the sound of the album. It’s hard for us to say what any track is about because we’ve always written songs that can be taken heaps of different ways, it all comes down to the person listening to it.”
