Ed Sheeran Injured In Traffic Accident Which “May” Affect Upcoming Shows

Ed Sheeran has been injured in an alleged car accident while riding his bike in London, and he’s told fans that it “may” affect some of his upcoming tour dates.

Sheeran, who is scheduled to perform in Australia in March next year after completing a tour of Asia between October and November, was reportedly hit by a car in London yesterday.

Taking to social media following the accident, Sheeran told fans, “I’ve had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news.”

Sheeran’s Aussie tour promoter, Mushroom Group, has told Music Feeds that the singer’s upcoming Australian tour “is fine”, which suggests the tour will still go ahead as planned.

If Sheeran’s injuries do involve a broken or fractured arm, he could well be out of acting for a couple of months, which could mean his Asian tour dates will be cancelled, or simply postponed.

Sheeran is scheduled to perform in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne Sydney and Brisbane in 2018, behind his latest album ÷.

Stay tuned to Music Feeds for any tour updates as they come to hand — pun unintended, Teddy.
