Habitual party starters Purple Sneakers have announced their contribution to this year’s King Street Crawl, and what a contribution it is. Come Sunday, 4th September, they’ll be taking over Sydney’s Newtown Hotel, bringing with them some of the latest and greatest in local talent.
Still yet to reach cruising altitude since the release of her debut album Intra, Elizabeth Rose will be unleashing one of her lorded DJ sets, with the illuminating Annie Bass confirmed for a live performance. Collarbones’ Marcus Whale will also be performing, as if he wasn’t already busy enough, as will one-of-a-kind beatsmith Luen.
A healthy mix of live performances and DJ sets will be blaring out of the venue from midday, well into the night. The music will be spread across two stages, meaning you’ll never have to wait too long before the beats start again.
Those who can recall Purple Sneakers 10th Birthday bash at Vivid will know that there ain’t no party like a Purple Sneakers party.
