Eminem Releases Official ‘Berzerk’ Video

Guess who’s back, back again. Shady’s back, tell a friend. Yep, it’s Mr Eight Mile himself, Eminem, bursting back onto the scene and unleashing a video for his brand new track Berzerk, the first official release for the Detroit rapper since 2010’s Recovery.

The clip sees Em get his wordplay on in front of a giant stereo, mixing it up with some found footage of people brawling, appropriate stuff for a single that’s pretty much a call to let loose and blow your stack. There’s also guest appearances from Kid Rock, Rick Rubin and Kendrick Lamar, as well as some LCD-inspired neon sky and a little footage of Billy Squire performing the track’s main sample, The Stroke, in all of its ’80s glory.

Berzerk is the lead single from the forthcoming MMLP2, a sequel of sorts to Eminem’s 2000 album Marshall Mathers LP, due for release this November. And Marshall Mathers III himself is likely to return to Aussie shores to promote the record in 2014, with The Herald Sun‘s favourite musical psychic Nui Te Koha predicting that the 40-year-old will tour in late February and early March.
