Eminem Served Fans At Mom’s Spaghetti Pop Up Store In Detroit

A small group of Eminem fans had a unique experience with the rapper in Detroit this week – all in the name of one of his most famous lyrics.

To mark the launch of a new pasta pop-up in his hometown, Eminem was on deck to serve the first ten fans who were in line at the aptly named Mom’s Spaghetti.

As covered by the Detroit Free Press, the event drew a line of eager punters that stretched around multiple street blocks. But for those first ten fans, they got to order and be served their takeaway pasta boxes by Eminem, who manned the walk-up window in what’s definitely unique meet and greet situation.

The fact that Eminem was even pictured out in public for something like this is a rarity but let’s be real, when the roll out includes the below commercial – it’s an opening you wouldn’t want to miss.

Mom’s Spaghetti is keeping things simple, offering up a selection of spaghetti dishes, meatballs included.

Along with the walk up window, Mom’s Spaghetti has branched into a space called ‘The Trailer’, paying homage to Eminem’s 8 Mile. It’s a merch store that features apparel, mugs and other items to buy. It also features different items including Eminem’s original superhero outfit from the ‘Without Me’ music video.

The venture is between Eminem and the Union Joints Restaurant Group. The rapper’s history with co-owner Curt Catallo goes back to 2010, when the latter’s design agency collaborated with Eminem and Chrysler on an ad that would eventually lead to Eminem’s Super Bowl ad with the car company that year.

In other Eminem news, he’s reunited with Skylar Grey, along with rapper Polo G and Mozzy on a new track – ‘Last One Standing’. The song is set to appear in the upcoming Marvel film Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Eminem contributed music to the first Venom film in 2018, you may remember, too.

Listen to ‘Last One Standing’ below.
