End Of Fashion Break Hiatus With First New Music In Almost A Decade

It’s been eight years but the Perth pop rockers behind tunes like ‘O’Yeah’, ‘She’s Love’, and ‘Fussy’, End Of Fashion, have released a new single. The new single is called ‘BreakThru’ and the band are saying it’s more like their debut release than their most recent.

‘BreakThru’ definitely does lend more of its sound from O’Yeah than Holiday Trip Of A Lifetime. It has more of that anthemic pop rock sound and is riff-ey AF.

End Of Fashion posted a photo with frontman Justin Burford and a husky (!!!!) to Instagram today, revealing there’s a film clip on its way. You can have a listen to the song down below.

End Of Fashion’s last album, Holiday Trip Of A Lifetime, was released back in 2012. It didn’t see as much success as their previous releases, which led to Justin Burford famously calling out triple j.

“Triple J ended the career path of End Of Fashion, no question. A band that was fully supported by the station, earning a top ten place in a Hottest 100, was dropped like a sack of hot potatoes upon the second album’s release,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Our lead single, Fussy was even openly derided on air by Richard Kingsmill as “just another pop release.”

Kerser, Airborne, and Whitley are among a slew of artists joining End Of Fashion who’ve called out triple j for a lack of support.

It seems ‘BreakThru’ marks a return and perhaps a new beginning for End Of Fashion. Listen below.
