Exclusive Video Premiere: Hamish Anderson – ‘Howl’

Music Feeds is stoked to be hosting the premiere of Hamish Anderson’s new music video for his blues-infused tune Howl, the lead single from Anderson’s self-titled debut EP, due out Friday, 19th April.

Anderson’s Howl is driven by a down and dirty guitar sound that makes you lead with the crotch and grind up on an amp until you get an electric shock to match the tingle in your spine, complemented by Hamish’s own smoky vocals. Sex.

Although relatively new to a national audience, the Melbourne musician has made quite an impression on his local stomping ground and, in the process, attracted some skilful – not to mention famous – names for this upcoming EP. Rami Jaffee of Foo Fighters and Wallflowers fame as well as members of Angus & Julia Stone and Bluejuice’s bands all pitched in while Anderson recorded under the steadied hand of producer Eric J. Dubowsky (Weezer, Art vs. Science) at BJB Studio.

The official launch show for Anderson’s EP will take place on Wednesday, 1st May before a hometown crowd at The Toff In Town. For ticket info get your ass over to The Toff In Town’s official site.
