The lineup for this summer’s Falls Festival has been embiggened once again with addition of a legendary Aussie band.
Pond have been added to the mammoth bill, tagging in for axed act Grouplove who were forced to cancel their trip Down Under after vocalist Hannah Hooper was ordered by doctors to undergo 4-6 weeks of “strict vocal rest”.
The WA psych-heads will replace Grouplove across the Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle legs of the fest, armed with their freshly released 6th studio LP Man It Feels Like Space Again.
They join a one of the biggest festival lineups of the year, which features names like London Grammar, Childish Gambino, The Avalanches, Alison Wonderland, Grandmaster Flash, Ball Park Music, The Rubens, Violent Soho and countless others who’ll be tearing up Aussie stages over New Years and into 2017.
The Lorne and Byron Bay legs of Falls have already sold out – but you can still get your mits on the full range of tickets for Tassie’s Marion Bay leg and the new Fremantle leg of the 2016/2017 fest.
