Falls Festival 2017/2018 Lineup Expands Again In Marion Bay

The Marion Bay leg of Falls Festival has just blown out with the addition of dozens more local artists.

25 Tassie-bred acts have just been added to the bill on their very own stage.

Reppin’ on the ‘Homebrewed’ lineup this year are dark electro act Q.E., ocean pop darlings Heart Beach, Launceston punks The Sleepyheads, surf-rockers Chase City, SUNDAZE, masters of groove LAZER BABY and oodles more.

It marks the third straight year that a mighty batch of local artists will get a guernsey at Falls Marion Bay as part of Music Tasmania’s Homebrewed initiative.

“We’re really proud of the Homebrewed lineup this year,” says Music Tasmania’s CEO Laura Harper. “There are 25 acts programmed over three days and more than 50% are female-led.

“Homebrewed has become the place to discover local talent at Falls Festival and we have a great mix of more established bands who have been kicking goals over the last year, along with some amazing emerging acts that you have to experience.”

The Homebrewed stage will be running for the entire duration of the festival, giving punters the chance to support a slew of Tassie talent.

The 25 fresh additions join a monster lineup that features Flume, Liam Gallagher, Daryl Braithwaite and multiple stage-loads more.

Falls Festival Marion Bay runs from Friday, 29th December to Sunday, 31st December 2017.
