Falls Festival Adds A Stack Of New Acts To Its 2016/2017 Lineup

Get your hype pants on, because Falls Festival just got a whole lot bigger.

Organisers have announced a heap of new acts for Falls’ east coast stops, on top of what was an already stacked lineup for the 2016/2017 edition of the festival.

Marion Bay sees veterans Aussie rockers You Am I added to its bill, along with Angus Stone’s latest project Dope Lemon, Melbourne indie rockers Northeast Party House and hip hop duo Spit Syndicate, among others.

Northeast Party House have also been added to the Lorne lineup, which has taken on the most new acts and will also see the likes of Kilter, Olympia, Willow Beats, Jack River and Hockey Dad, as well as triple j unearthed high winner Gretta Ray take to the stage.

Byron Bay has been boosted by a few additions of its own, with Hein Cooper and Haelos joining the ranks, while Northeast Party House, Spit Syndicate and more will also play sets.

This slew of fresh additions will join the likes of Childish Gambino, London Grammar, The Avalanches, Violent Soho, Alison Wonderland and more at Falls come December.

Organisers have also indicated that the Fremantle leg of the festival will also have new acts added in the near future, so stay tuned.

Both Byron Bay and Lorne locations have sold out, but dates and details for the remaining locations are available below, alongside all the new lineup additions.

UPDATE 1/12/16: Grouplove have cancelled their entire Australian tour including all Falls Festival shows and sideshows.
