Falls Festival Lorne Is Getting Even More Acts

You know how they say the eldest child is usually the favourite? Well the Lorne leg of the 2015/2016 Falls Festival is getting a bit of extra special treatment, with 28 new acts announced for the bill.

The original Falls site, now celebrating its 23rd year in action, completely sold out within hours of tickets going on sale, and promoters are celebrating by blowing out the lineup with the likes of Dune Rats, Harts, DJ Yoda, City Calm Down, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Banoffee, Generik, Vallis Alps, The Bennies, Holy Holy and more.

British indie rock trio The Wombats have also been added to the bill, after previously being announced for Byron Bay and Marion Bay.

They’ll join previously named acts on the already-stacked lineup, like Bloc Party, Foals, Disclosure, Courtney Barnett, Gary Clark Jr. and many more who will be playing across all of the Falls sites.

And look, while it may seem “unfair” that Falls Lorne gets “more acts” than its siblings, lest we forget that Falls Byron has been gifted with it’s own freaking water park, and promoters are promising even more surprises still to be announced.

Besides, a little sibling rivalry can be healthy.
