After taking a year off due to the pandemic, Field Day will return to Sydney’s Domain on Saturday, 1st January 2022.
As previously relayed, Field Day 2022 will look and sound different to previous iterations, with the festival centring on just one stage and featuring 100% Australian artists. The lineup includes a range of pop, hip hop and indie rave acts as well as a number of decorated festival DJs.
There’s a competition up and running to select one triple j Unearthed artist to round out the lineup. Those keen to be in with a chance just need to get their track uploaded to triple j Unearthed by midnight (AEST) on Sunday, 5th December. More details here.
Field Day 2022 will run from midday through till 11pm in Sydney’s Domain. Tickets go on sale at midday on Thursday (18th November). In the meantime, they’re running a competition to give away VIP tickets and double passes. Even if you don’t come out on top, entering into the comp puts you in the running for one of 200 VIP upgrades and guaranteed ticket access.
General admission tickets are going for $132 ($125 + $7 booking fee), while VIP seats will set you back $257 ($250 + $7 booking fee).
