Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) has used the New Zealand edition of his Pharos festival to debut a trailer for his upcoming film with Rihanna, reportedly dubbed ‘Guava Island’.
Fan-filmed footage has emerged of the trailer being premiered at Pharos festival over the weekend, and it shows Glover and Rihanna co-starring in the Hiro Muria-directed flick, which is expected to drop in 2019.
While part of the trailer appears to be missing from the clip (which you can watch below), the video confirms that Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright and British-Nigerian actor Nonso Anozie will also star in the film.
Last week, the first trailer for the Donald Glover-starring remake of The Lion King also debuted, before Glover kicked off the New Zealand edition of his Pharos festival.
Glover cancelled his 2018 Childish Gambino Australian tour last month, due to a foot injury he suffered at a concert in Dallas.
