Flume Teases New Music & Plans For A New Moustache

Flume was today announced as one of the headliners of Falls Festival 2017/2018, and following the announcement the Sydney producer teased the possibility of new music being performed at the festival.

Speaking on triple j Breakfast this morning Flume said he’s looking forward to wrapping up his European tour, and hinted that a new project may very well be ready for Falls.

“I have time which is a good thing, which means there will be lots of new stuff,” he said. “I’m currently working on a whole bunch of new ideas, bits and pieces. Hopefully we’ll be able to play a bunch of new bits and pieces.”

Perhaps more significantly, Flume also gave fans of his short-lived moustache hope that he may join the mo club once again. “I feel like I want to grow my moustache again,” he said.

The moustache shot to popularity with a trajectory not dissimilar to Flume’s meteoric rise to fame, even gaining its own Instagram account, but was gone too soon.

Flume will join the likes of Liam Gallagher, Glass Animals, The Kooks, Fleet Foxes, Angus & Julia Stone, Foster The People and Daryl Braithwaite on the bill for the 25th anniversary edition of Falls later this year.
