Foo Fighters Frontman Dave Grohl Developing a Sitcom

Already a living legend, Dave Grohl could really do no more could he? Well now he’s developing a 30-minute sitcom with comedian Dana Gould (who is a former writer on The Simpsons) for cable TV network FX.

Gould, who is supposedly a fan of Grohl’s music, approached the Foo Fighters frontman about helping collaborate on the project, which of course Grohl happily accepted. The show will revolve around a rock band on the verge of stardom/breaking up, with the band seeking professional assistance from a therapist for couples on the brink of divorce.

Grohl spoke about his views on band therapy in the past, stating, “I believe one of the reasons we’ve managed to stay together [is] because we just don’t tell each other everything,”.

FX has also developed other music feature shows like Scar Tissue, a drama from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ frontman Anthony Kiedis.

In recent musical collaborations, Grohl is teaming up with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor for a side project.
