Franz Ferdinand Announce Harvest 2013 Replacement Shows

AJ Maddah has lived up to his word, with today seeing Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand confirming a headlining Australian tour as compensation to fans after Harvest 2013 was cancelled.

The band are about to begin a huge American tour, and will finally hit Australian shores this November, before heading back through Asia and Europe. Their live show is renowned for its wit and performative energy.

Franz Ferdinand recently released their fourth studio album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, to mixed reviews. The album was recorded at frontman Alex Kapranos’ Scottish studio, Nick McCarthy’s Sausage Studios in London, Club Ralph and in a few places around Stockholm and Oslo.
