Blues rocker Gary Clark Jr. will be touring Australia in the near future as part of the Byron Bay 2015 Bluesfest lineup, and now Aussie fans will have the chance to see the guitar virtuoso up close and personal at two intimate headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
In addition to his Bluesfest performance Gary Clark Jr. will play Melbourne’s 170 Russell Street on Wednesday, 8th April and will take the stage at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, 10th April.
Last here in Australia in support of his debut album Blak and Blu, the Grammy Award winning artist’s return to Australia follows the release of his acclaimed live album, Gary Clark Jr. – LIVE, which features both original material and reinterpretations of loved songs.
Having shared the stage with such music heroes like Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and most recently featuring on Foo Fighters’ latest album Sonic Highways, Gary Clark Jr.’s musical prowess has captured fans and peers alike and drawn in entire audiences all over the world.
