Ghost Cancel Show Mid-Set After Fan Collapses In The Pit & Dies

In some very tragic news out of the US, a Ghost fan has collapsed in the moshpit at one of the band’s shows and passed away shortly after.

The demonic Swedish metallers were performing to a sold-out 2,500-capacity venue in Milwaukee when true horror struck.

As Blabbermouth reports, the incident occurred just as the band had announced an intermission; the man fell to the ground, security was flagged and paramedics attempted to administer CPR.

Ghost made a decision to cancel the show mid-set out of respect to their fallen fan, who was rushed to hospital where he later died of “natural causes”.

“Tonight, in Milwaukee, there was a medical emergency with one of our fans,” the band wrote in a statement on Twitter.

“We decided not to continue out of respect to him and his family. Ghost and all who work with us ask that you please send the family your thoughts, prayers and respect their privacy during this time.”

In happier news, frontman Tobias Forge AKA Cardinal Copia recently confirmed to Music Feeds that Ghost are planning to return to tour Australia in March of 2018.

You can catch our full interview with him right here.

Meanwhile, Ghost’s new album Prequelle is out now.
