The Ghost Inside Injured In Horrific, Reportedly Fatal Bus Crash

The Ghost Inside have reportedly survived a fatal accident after their tour bus collided with a semi-truck just East of El Paso in Texas.

US radio station KFMX broke the news after they were sent a photo of the incident by trucker Jay Ivie who passed the scene of the crash. Ive told the station that three of the band’s members were pulled from the wreckage while he was at the scene.

He also said that two people inside the semi-truck have reportedly died.

The Amity Affliciton’s Joel Birch tweeted that he has spoken to Jim Riley from the band and can confirm that the band and all their crew are alive, however, various outlets are now reporting that some of the people on the bus have sustained injuries.

CBS4 reporter Lashay Wesley has tweeted that multiple people were airlifted to a local hospital. The brother of drummer Nick Tkaczyk has since taken to his Facebook saying, “Andrew was airlifted to the hospital this morning after his bus was involved in an accident.”

“He is alive, however he has suffered head trauma, as well as broken bones in his lower extremities, and a shoulder injury. He is currently in ICU and may require surgery.”

A Gofundme page has already been set up to help pay for the band’s medical bills and damaged equipment.

“Multiple members of the band and crew suffered serious injuries during the ordeal. Equipment was also lost in addition to various medical bills incurred,” the creator Brian Storm wrote.

The band are currently on tour in the US and played a show in Lubbock, Texas on Wednesday night. They were on route to their Friday show in Mesa, Ariz.
