Cheers, There’s A Gin Festival Coming To Sydney In September

Gin festival Gin Palooza is set to return to Sydney in September, with organisers announcing the event will go ahead this year with a COVID-safe plan in line with government regulations.

Scheduled to take place from Friday 4th – Saturday 5th September at the International Convention Centre (ICC), this year’s Gin Palooza will bring together 33 craft distillers, showing over 160 craft gins from across Australia’s industry. Distillers who’ve signed up to be a part so far include Prohibition Liquor Co, Barossa Distilling, The Farmers Wife, Newy Distillery and many more.

This time around the festival will consist of three separate three-hour sessions, all of which will see the ICC transformed with fresh botanicals, creating an ideal space for you to craft that perfect G&T you’ve been working on. There’ll also be a stack of masterclasses and demonstrations, including a hands-on cocktail making tutorial, along with an array of gourmet dishes.

Tickets are on sale now at $60 a pop – head here for more information including the full list of participating distilleries.

UPDATE 04/08/20: The September Gin Palooza is now postponed and will now be a Christmas event to be held at the ICC on Friday 4 – Saturday 5 December. For anyone who purchased tickets to the September event, these tickets will roll over to be valid for the same booked session at the Christmas Gin Palooza.
