The organisers of regional NSW festival Good Times, put together by the crew behind Strawberry Fields, has been forced to postpone its inaugural event due to the ongoing pandemic and subsequent lockdown restrictions.
The event will now take place across the weekend of September 24-25, with some minor adjustments to the lineup. Josh Teskey and Ash Grunwald are unable to make the new date (though have signed on to perform at next year’s event.) In their place, Josh’s brother Sam Teskey will be stepping up, performing songs from his forthcoming debut solo album Cycles, which is due to arrive in October.
The rest of the lineup, featuring Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Surprise Chef, Emma Donovan and the Putbacks and more, remains unchanged.
“Our team, artists and the local community are committed to ensuring the Good Times roll in Tocumwal this September,” commented co-promoter Tara Benney in a statement. “We appreciate everyone’s unwavering patience and support. Hold on to your tickets – every dollar raised goes back to the local community.”
