So in this bizarre universe where Grimes is the one dominating the news cycle, she’s now gone and given us a major clue as to what to expect from her highly anticipated follow-up album to 2015’s massive Art Angels.
The Canadian singer-producer extraordinaire shared some working song titles on her Instagram story and they are absolutely cooked and we love it.
Personal faves include: ‘thats what the drugs r 4’, ‘So Heavy i fell through the earth’ and ‘blaze forever like a useless star’.

She actually took to Twitter to ask fans what sort of song they would like her to drop, and gave some incredibly detailed descriptions of our options.

Dunno about you guys, but we’re really feeling a super dark, heavy ballad about fighting Balrog in the centre of the Earth that is also a sex metaphor. Sounds like perfect easy Sunday listening.
Grimes’ latest effort was her feature on the brilliant Janelle Monáe track ‘PYNK’ that appeared on Monáe’s album Dirty Computer.
