Valentine’s Day is this Sunday and Slowly Slowly are gifting us early. They’ve teamed up with Yours Truly’s Mikaila Delgado for their newest single, ‘First Love’.
Taken from their forthcoming album Race Car Blues – Chapter 2, ‘First Love’ is sonically stunning. Mikaila Delgado’s vocals offer the perfect, most complimentary contrast to Ben Stewart’s brooding pipes.
On the collab, Stewart says he approached Mikaila because he’s a massive fan of Yours Truly.
“She instantly understood the vibe we were going for and was incredible to work with,” he said.
“Mikaila was really intuitive with building the vocal arrangement, her harmonies and tonality really made the song feel complete.”
