Hear Bliss N Eso Rap Over An FKA Twigs Track

Bliss N Eso have released a “new banger” — well, they’ve rapped anti-drug messages over FKA twigs’ hit single Two Weeks and released it as a free download.

Bliss N Eso’s take on Two Weeks (below) opens with a sample of Willy Wonka’s famous line, “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams”, and goes on to reference drug-loving comedy duo Cheech and Chong and Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. Twigs’ “higher than a motherfucker” chorus line is left in place, as are her snappy electronic beats and synths.

Bliss N Eso last released new music in 2013, with their studio album Circus In The Sky. This track is also the first piece of new material they’ve released since MC ESO was caught posting misogynistic photos on Instagram leading to the group’s music being pulled from triple j for some time last year.

Their FKA twigs crossover track can be downloaded for free over at the Bliss N Eso website, if you’re willing to provide your email address.
