Hear Bring Me The Horizon’s Slightly Screamier New Song ‘True Friends’

Metalcore born-again stadium rock act Bring Me The Horizon have ripped another track off their forthcoming record, That’s The Spirit.

The disc’s newest single, entitled True Friends, is a heavy chuggin’ string-backed tune about betrayal, headed up by the aggressive if not slightly emo lyric of “True friends stab you in the front”.

The BMTH faithful might be happy to learn that the band’s latest sounds a bit less like Linkin Park, and a bit more like the BMTH we’ve come to know, with Oliver Sykes back showcasing his screaming chops in a ballsy prechorus.

True Friends is the fourth song we’ve heard off the band’s forthcomer, following Throne, Happy Song and, of course, Drown.

Bring Me The Horizon’s “stadium-filling” new album That’s The Spirit, the follow-up to 2013’s Sempiternal, will be released worldwide on September 11th.
