Slipknot have loosed another nuclear tune missile from their imminently dropping new album WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND.
Dubbed ‘Birth Of The Cruel’, the song pivots between slow-burning, grungey verses — think Alice In Chains meets Guns N’ Roses — before exploding into merciless industrial-wrought heaviness feat. Corey Taylor screaming like an absolute goddamn demon.
‘Birth of the Cruel’ is the third song that metal’s maggot wranglers have released from their forthcoming sixth studio album, following on from ‘Unsainted’ and ‘Solway Firth’, both of which came packing intense AF music videos, and you can bet it’s going to absolutely GO OFF live.
Speaking of live, you can catch the ‘Knot touring Australia with Metallica later this year after their new album WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND lands on August 9th.
Frontman Corey Taylor recently said that the new record is “the darkest that I’ve gone in a long time” so get keen maggots!
