Hear Tonight Alive Cover Silverchair’s ‘Without You’

Tonight Alive have become the latest band to share a cover of a classic Silverchair track, as part of an upcoming Silverchair tribute compilation album.

The Aussie rockers have today released their version of the 2002 Diorama album cut ‘Without You’, which you can stream in full below.

“I was hugely inspired by Silverchair’s Diorama as a young teenager,” says Tonight Alive frontwoman Jenna McDougall.

“I knew every vocal and musical intricacy of the record and would jam it front to back on the weekends with the previous singer of our band. ‘Without You’ has a special place in my heart for that reason and the full circle of recording our own version of it was a privilege.”

Tonight Alive’s version of ‘Without You’ is the third track to be lifted from the upcoming compilation album Spawn (Again): A Tribute To Silverchair, which is set for release on 17th November.

Previous songs have seen Northlane tackle ‘Anthem For The Year 2000’ and Hands Like Houses cover ‘Ana’s Song (Open Fire)’.

Meanwhile, Tonight Alive are preparing to release their new album Underworld next year, which — as it turns out — features a collaboration with Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor.
