Forbes has unveiled its list of the highest paid women in music for 2016.
This year’s top 10 biggest earners in the bizz (sporting the XX chromosomes) are all pop megastars, three of whom are still under the age of 30.
The majority of the top 10 have had careers spanning more than a decade (except notably the #1 pop tycoon), with several spanning multiple decades.
Two of the big list’s cashed-up kween’s have toured Australia in the past year, with another tipped to be announcing a tour very, very soon.

#7 Jennifer Lopez
Her love may not cost a thing, but J-Lo is still sitting pretty with a whopping $39.5m earnings for the year. -
#6 Katy Perry
While she may have lost her #1 spot from last year to her arch nemesis Taylor Swift, 32-year-old Katy Perry is still a fighter, bagging earnings of US$41m for 2016 -
#5 Beyonce
Queen Bey slayed it this year, with an income of US$54m. -
#4 Rihanna
Bitch better have Ri-Ri's money, because 28-year-old just earned a whopping US$75m for the year. -
#3 Madonna
Madge is still going strong after decades in the bizz, rounding out the top 3 with earnings of US$76.5m thanks to her massive 'Rebel Heart' tour -
#2 Adele
The 28-year-old goliath-voiced UK pop chanteuse came runner up in the list, bagging a mammoth US$80.5m for her efforts. And she hasn't even brought her massive 'Adele Live' tour to Australia yet (but that's set to change soon...) -
#1 Taylor Swift
Reigning supreme at number 1 with more than double the income of any other artist on the list, its youngest entrant 26-year-old T-Swizzle made it rain with a mind-boggling US$170m in earnings for 2016. Yowza!
