Here’s Your Band’s Chance To Play UNIFY Gathering 2019

As per tradition, UNIFY Gathering is opening its doors for one final act to join its hefty lineup.

The 2019 instalment of the punk, rock & metal festivus is teaming up with triple j Unearthed to give one lucky band the chance to lube up the stage for the likes of Underoath, Karnivool Taking Back Sunday,  Every Time I Die, Trophy Eyes, In Hearts Wake, Ocean Grove and more.

To be eligible, all you have to do is be Victorian-based and have tracks added to triple j Unearthed with punk, metal or rock tagged as your vibe.

The comp closes at midnight on November 15th, so either make sure you move to Victoria and/or have your best songs up on Unearthed before then!

The importance of UNIFY for the scene, as well as the larger music industry, really can’t be overstated, so scoring a slot on the lineup is a massive opportunity. In fact, past UNIFY Unearthed winners Pagan and Drown This City are back on the lineup this year!

For more information, you can head to the triple J Unearthed website.

Next year’s UNIFY event — the fifth instalment of the festival — will take place in a new location, five kilometres from its original home at Tarwin Lower in South Gippsland, between Friday, 11th and Sunday, 13th January.

Organisers are also giving punters the option of arriving a day early this year, which means they can set up camp on Thursday, 10th January.
